This new course replaces Practical Acting 1, and 2. New material added to make this the quintessential introduction to the world of professional film and television acting. Real world exercises and scenarios, from instructor Stephen Burhoe, as well as exercises from the legendary Jeff Corey.

The basics of what acting is, how to learn, research, and present solid performances. From the basic “rules of the road”, to the audition (including self tape and remote audition techniques) to working on set. This course is truly essential, and it takes the student from beginning to booking. 2.5 hours per week for twelve weeks. $480. Plus tax.

• Section I is Mondays, starting in January. 6 – 8:30pm

• Section III is Wednesdays, starting March 15. 6-8:30pm
