A deep dive into understanding how the camera sees you.
It’s been said that the camera is a great lie detector. But, it can distort reality through forced perspective, as well. Discover the nuances of delivering a truthful performance on camera, through eye-lines, actions, reactions, stillness and subtlety. This four week class is designed to sharpen the actors on-camera skills by seeing what the camera, and therefore the audience, sees in the finished product. Not just the technical aspects, but how to deliver that truth from the character’s perspective. Benefits both on-set and self tape performance.
Students receive written and video lessons each week to be performed on a weekly live Zoom session for constructive feedback.
