NEW Rising Stars Class – 2018
Professional level acting training for youth. – Register HERE
Ages 9 to 16
Previous training is recommended but not required. It is not necessary to want to be a professional actor, but a professional attitude is a must. New students and their parents may need to interview and/or audition with instructor prior to enrollment.
Suitable for repeating, this class features new material each session. It is designed to raise the level of each student individually. The Winter 2018 session will emphasize improvisation as a rehearsal tool and self taping auditions for the 2018 New Mexico Actors Showcase.*
Reinforcement of proper techniques, encouragement of creativity and correction of bad habits is at the core of this training.
Recommended for youth who have, or are seeking representation.
Parents benefit too: Consultation on all aspects of the business are included.

Ten Sundays 2:30 to 4:30 January 14 through March 18
Classes take place at Cho’s Tae Kwon Do

*Participation in the New Mexico Film Foundation Actors Showcase is optional. However, all students will prepare as though they will be competing. This is good training for professional preparedness. Actual participation in the NMFF Showcase is free. Support for student participation will provided by Players Craft.
